Our campaign kickoff was a resounding success! On a sweltering Saturday morning, over 85 dedicated community members gathered to hear my vision for Irvine. I was and continue to be deeply honored by the enthusiastic early support from so many of you.
The event was made even more special by the presence of distinguished guests, including Irvine Councilmembers Tammy Kim and Kathleen Treseder, Irvine Planning Commissioner Branda Lin, Irvine Community Services Commissioner Doug Elliott, Community Leader Naz Hamid, and Beijing Friendship Association Founding Honorary President Wang Ling. Their support underscores the strength of our community and the shared commitment to shaping a brighter future for Irvine.

June Fundraising Gala
Our fundraising gala for Jing Sun's Irvine City Council campaign was a tremendous success! On June 27th, over 100 community leaders and Peking University alumni gathered in San Gabriel to show their support.
The evening was highlighted by the presence of influential figures such as Xiong Wensheng, President of the Chinese American Association of Southern California, and Wang Ling, Honorary President of the Beijing Friendship Association, who offered powerful endorsements and shared inspiring messages.
Jing shared his vision for Irvine's future, emphasizing the importance of multi-ethnic community development and the role of political participation in strengthening our community.

July Fundraising Gala
On July 25th, Jing Sun hosted a second successful fundraising dinner in Hacienda Heights, where he shared his vision for running for Irvine City Council's District 3. The event drew nearly 100 supporters from the Chinese American community, including influential leaders such as Zhang Sujiu, Honorary Chairman Lu Qiang, Xiong Wensheng, President of the Chinese American Association of Southern California, Lin Guang, President of the Global Influencer Economy Association, and others.
The evening featured strong endorsements for Jing Sun, with guests highlighting his dedication and contributions to community service. They encouraged voters to support his campaign for City Council.
Jing Sun, currently Chair of the Irvine Community Services Commission and a candidate for City Council, has actively contributed to urban planning, park maintenance, sports facility management, and support for families, the elderly, and people with disabilities. His campaign seeks to bring a balanced development perspective to Irvine with the backing of the Chinese American community.
He expressed gratitude to all attendees and shared his vision for a prosperous Irvine, aiming to inspire more Chinese Americans to engage in politics and strengthen the community. Jing's next step includes a door-to-door campaign with a goal of securing 10,000 votes.

Team Irvine Fundraiser Co-Hosted by Katie Porter
On Sunday, September 15th, we hosted a memorable evening with Congresswoman Katie Porter, who joined us in support of our local candidates for Irvine City Council. Held at a beautiful home in Northwood, this event brought together community members, leaders, and supporters, all united by a shared vision for the future of Irvine.
Attendees enjoyed lively conversations over drinks and delicious homemade food while hearing from some of the exceptional candidates for Irvine—Tammy Kim for Mayor, Melinda Liu for City Council District 1, Jing Sun for City Council District 3, and Ayn Craciun for City Council District 4. Congresswoman Katie Porter energized the crowd with her engaging introduction, and rather than simply having each of us introduce ourselves, she posed some of the key questions that voters are asking. This approach sparked meaningful dialogue and underscored the importance of electing leaders who truly reflect the values and priorities of our community.
The evening was a great success, with strong support from attendees ensuring that our candidates have the resources they need to bring meaningful change to Irvine. Each ticket and contribution made a significant impact, helping to build a local government that truly delivers for Irvine families.

On Monday, September 16th, we gathered for an incredible evening in support of Jing Sun's campaign for Irvine City Council District 3. The exclusive Fundraising Soirée was a tremendous success, with a vibrant turnout of engaged community members. Guests had the opportunity to meet Jing, hear about his vision for Irvine, and discuss the issues that matter most to our city.
The evening was filled with thoughtful conversations, delicious hors d'oeuvres, and refreshing drinks, all shared among passionate supporters who are ready to help shape Irvine's future. Together, we took an important step forward in building a community that reflects the values and priorities of its residents.
